What is the legal value of a signed document on LiveConsent ?

A document signed electronically via LiveConsent has the same legal value as its paper equivalent. Indeed, a document signed on LiveConsent is an electronic original document.

“The legal effect and admissibility of an electronic document as evidence in legal proceedings may not be denied on the sole ground that the document is in electronic form”, Article 46, eIDAS.

LiveConsent allows all signatories to have the signed electronic original document available to them. Any reproduction of the electronic original document in paper or electronic format is a copy.
